Just a place to organize ideas we had for the post apocalyptic RP.
I guess a big one is do we want something like zombies or mutants wandering around?
Where do we want this to take place? I would keep it at around a state level size if we do the United States or maybe even region (ie Southeast, Northeast, Great Lakes)
Cause(s) of the apocalypse.
That's all I got for now, discuss.

Here's what I've been thinking: Potential Baddies- Bandits/Thugs
- Zombie mutants (basically feral ghouls)
- Mutated creatures (maybe look to Stalker for inspiration?)
- Evil faction or two
- Mercenary groups (both potential allies and enemies)
Location(s)Somewhere with a variety of environments. I'd like to look at somewhere on the US/Canadian border Cause of ApocalypseI'm open to anything. |

They even have premade post apocalyptic buildings in Detroit, they are ready.
A variety of climates might be hard to find in the size of area we are looking for but might be possible.
I say definitely yes to Lachlan's list.
Per chat I think Nuclear War might be the best cause even if it is cliche it not only does a lot of damage but it has bad after effects that linger. The Only other thing off the top of my head that could do something like that would be the Yellowstone Supervolcano erupting.
If we do the GL do we want that entire area or just the shaded portions

True we can stick with nukes for now.
How long after said apocalyptic event (most likely nukes) do we want this taking place?. Sev suggested the range of 50-75 years.

I think just the shaded area is fine, if we wanted smaller maybe just Wisconsin and the not mitten looking part or michigan

Chicago is a big city and Detroit was a big manufacturing hub, still sort of is.
Toronto would probably get hit hard too, really the only place
Not affected is the other part of Michigan

Per this afternoons discussion, what does everyone else think about the cause for the nuclear incident being forgotten, or not consistent, like the only thing we know that there was a war in the past and nuclear missiles were launched by someone
