There aren't any TVs in Avalon. Only mass prayer. All prayer, all the time.

Tournaments  have a rich history in the country of Roma, paying homage to their Victorian homage.  While "modern" sports (such as hockey, basketball, football, baseball etc) are growing the tournaments are still the most widely attended and watched TV.

Favourite Television program?
Soll'Rah's people, of all ages, often enjoy watching the adventures of 'Professor What'. The program follows the life of a man, not from our world, who travels around with a variety of comrades in his red phone booth.

Favourite Sport?
Soll'Rah's people like to watch 'Gatekeeper'. The object of the game is to get a round rock, roughly the size of a soccer ball, into the opposing team's platform using a tool that is a mix of a large hammer and an ice-cream scoop. there are four members to a team, and there are no set positions, just professions at certain tasks such as defending, distracting, and/or scoring. The strategy is yours to create!
Another well-loved sport, is 'DAY 7 COMBAT!'(Which is every Firday, Soll'Rah's designated seventh day of the week.). Basically, there are two teams, or squads, of seven. Given the best weapons, they are put into an arena, which often alternates different battlefield scenarios, and given a random type of objective. This can range from capturing an enemy flag, planting a bomb, rescuing a captured teammate or designated individual, or even just eliminating the opposing team. The list really does go on.
Teams are enabled their own customization of armour, to personalize your team, and for safety's sake, all weapons are loaded with Tactical Training Rounds that will simulate the equivalant of the weapon's designated bullet, with a maximum pain as an irritating sting.
Also, the people of Soll'Rah enjoy Tennis, Soccer, Auto Grand Prix, and Boxing/MMA.

Biggest Issue?
Soll'Rah's always had rebellion issues that are eventually quelled.

Transportation?
Soll'Rah has a wide variety of vehicles ranging from Military jeeps and trucks, futuristic sports, among the other more friendly civilian vehicles, the nation-exclusive MECH, which stands for Mechanically Enhanced Core Humanoid. There's also drop ships, civilian passenger planes, trains, subways, helicopters and motorbikes, demons and angels with the ability of flight are self-explainatory.

Most famous monument?
The peak of the Four Lords. In the centre of Soll'Rah, there are four rather large statues of the four legendary Horsemen of the Demonic Apocalypse. Respectively, War is positioned with his back to the South. Pestilence, his back to the East. Strife, to the West. And finally, Death, to the North. However, these four are the actual Lords themselves, only in eternal slumber. It is said that in the time of absolute crisis, the keys to their release will reawaken them, and allow them to return everything to the correct balance, whatever the cost. They are located in the centre of Soll'Rah, on the highest mountain.

My turn...
Does your nation have a flag? If yes, what is on it? If no, how does your country symbolize itself to others?

Personally, Soll'Rah has a purple flag, with the golden outline of a six-pedaled flower in the centre.

-cracks fingers-

The most popular television series in Spredronia (funny enough) is a television series following soldiers of several branches of the military. The show, if watched for long enough, is vaguely like the mutant offspring of the games Call of Duty and Battlefield, with the grunt character being the most realistic, and the spec ops character essentially living a Micheal Bay movie every operation.

The most favored sport in Spredronia is automobile racing. At several tiers, the highest being where prototype speed machines, heavily modified stock cars, and custom-built thousand-horsepower-plus race vehicles are, it is accessible to all, but only the most hardcore, determined, loyal drivers will make it to the top. Though other sports are also present, none appear to capture spirit like the viscerality of driving a plastic box  on wheels propelled by explosions.

The biggest issue in Spredronia is the country of Der Riese, as despite their much lower technological level, their extremely high numbers compared to Spredronia mean that if they were to come to arms, it would be a bloody war. It is often debated about every day.

The most common form of transportation in Spredronia is the automobile. Aircraft come in at a close second, with personal recreational vehicles (ATVs, bicycles, Ski-Doos, etc.) in third.

The most famous monument in Spredronia is the Monument To The Fallen. It depicts a soldier in three states of simultaneous dress: in knight's armor, with the butt of a crossbow, old early-to-mid gunpowder uniform with the middle of a bolt-action rifle, and current battle dress with the front of an assault rifle. Though the statue itself does not change, the base is made larger every year by expansions both vertical and horizontal. Inscribed on the stupidly large base, are the names of every Spredronian soldier that has ever been felled in combat, their rank at time of death, and their serial number.

The Spredronian flag is a Cadaceus on a red background, which is simple.

•What are the most common methods of transportation in your country?
Personal aircraft and zeppelins. In more urbanized regions, automobiles are fairly common. Outskirts rely more heavily on bush pilots and off-road vehicles.

•Does your nation have a flag? If yes, what is on it?

Most Spredronian civilian weapons are semi-automatic. Permits are required to utilize fully automatic firearms, and they are not availble in calibers exceeding .223. Though they can be shotguns, pistols, carbine rifles (basically semi-auto SMGs with longer barrels), rifles, or hunting rifles, the sale of belt-fed machine guns, military-grade sniper rifles, and anti-armor solutions are prohibited to the public.

I'll posit a question: What is the worst disaster, natural or otherwise, your nation has experienced?

Spredronia's worst disaster took place in 1956 (on their timescale). Labeled as the "Detonation", thanks to a careless smoker an ammunition ship was lit on fire. The ship was part of an ammo supply convoy preparing to leave Nova Scotia for the remote western edge of Newfoundland, facing the world. The resulting explosion took the rest of the ammo ships, and the combined detonation bottomed out the harbor for two minutes, caused semi-large tidal waves to hit the southeastern edge of Newfoundland, and utterly annihilated the port city of Nid D'Aigle to such an extent that the remainder of the city was demolished for spare parts. A total of around two hundred thousand citizens, and fifty thousand servicemen and servicewomen, perished in the explosion.

Weaponry Laws?

Demons and Angels are inevitable. Demons often have special talents that can be used for a variety of scenarios, and these powers can range from defensive, to aggressive, making their person a living weapon, of sorts. Angels are an extremely rare case. Their powers are mainly defensive and healing, and have no foreseen offensive value unless the individual has developed their own combat techniques using them. However in Soll'Rah, Demons and Angels are largely monitored and registered by both law enforcement and military personnel, so that in case of the event that a crime involving either race is committed, certain aspects of the crime can be narrowed down and solved much easier.

In the case of regular powerless civilians? Weapons are only enabled through the scenario of their occupation. In the past, more specifically the decades after the Contact War, weapons were enabled on an individual as they pleased. This, of course was eventually quelled as time moved forth.

Biggest Catastrophe?

To date, on the Contact War has done the largest amount of damage. The battle began on the first year of recorded time(labelled as Year Zero, by historians and citizens alike.), and spanned seven years. Details available upon request.

My question....

How does your Nation record history?

History before the Contact War has been long forgotten, allegedly, and the first year of the Contact war is known as Year Zero. Afterwards, time begins its new coarse as ADC, which is abbreviated for After Demonic Contact.

Biggest Issue?
Avalon has a slight 'demon' problem in the south.

Transportation?
98% of Avalon's population is born with wings. They fly.

Most famous monument?
The natural mountain range acts as the nations boarder is worshipped

Flag?
Golden frill surrounds a pearl white flag with a pair of off white stitched wings in the centre.

Weapons among civilians?
Most are unarmed, but some carry small blades. Which is permitted.

Worst Disaster?
One of Avalon's inland cities, Whitehaven, located at the foot of the largest mountain in the country, suffered from a massive landslide. Tens of thousands were caught unaware.

Recording history?
Avalonians are not the best record keepers. Major events are scribed and stored, but there is no method of recording time or date.

Who is one of your nations most important figures? (historical or modern, aside from one we know about)

Recording history?

Spredronia records all history before Spredronian timeframe as "BFS", or "Before Spredronian Formation." Time afterwards is recorded as "ACS", or "After Claimed Sovereignity."

Most important figure?

One of the most important figureheads has had his real name lost to time, but is known solely as the "Gatekeeper", because he was the one who kept the gates secure against the barbarians. The Gatekeeper provided the foundations for Spredronia's formation into the nation it is today, and if he had died, Spredronia would not exist.

My question:

Does your nation have an emergency plan for a destructive worldwide catastrophe? And if so, what are they?

Spredronia, being Canadian, has several worldwide plans: these include, among others, evacuation plans for the supervolcanic eruption of "Yellowstone" in Der Riese, and asteroid strikes at multiple positions around the world. In any case, "Arks" are currently under construction: upon a worldwide disaster being predicted to happen with certainty, or happening, a lottery will ensure the population of the Arks. There are plans to build 50 Arks, each with a population of 100,000.

Most important Figure(s)?

While frequently mentioned and never really shown, the Four Lords of the Demon World(Better known to the rest of the world as the four horsemen of the apocalypse), are the most influential figures in all of Soll'Rah's recorded history.
They are not only the four most powerful demons, but are also the fathers of the eight Dragoon demons. They have been voluntarily sealed in hibernation since sometime after the Contact War.

The First Lord, Piétro - Pestilence(Master of Famine)
The Second Lord, Samson - Strife(Master of Ashlotte)
The third Lord, Warren - War(Master of Ruin)
And, the final Lord, Dominic - Death(Master of Nevvahn)

Contingency Plan?

All over Soll'Rah, are underground bunkers known as "Sanctuaries". A Sanctuary is a heavily reinforced bunker, a couple hundred metres underneath the surface of Soll'Rah. They are a total of one hundred and seventeen bunkers spread across the nation- seventy five of which are actually completed. These bunkers are designed to protect it's inhabitants from any sort of catastrophe. Inside, inhabitants will find a vast network of shelters for them to reside inside of, until the catastrophe has past or otherwise.

Question....

How did your country come to be?

There is no recorded history before Year Zero. But it is known that Soll'Rah's human inhabitants were once prisoners of a long forgotten nation.

Emergency plan
Prayer.

How did your country come to be?
I recently updated Avalon's profile with the answer to this question. It's there if you'd like to read it in more detail, but basically there was a huge war. The Seraphall won.
