The roar of a motorcycle engine certainly didn't go unnoticed as it closed in on the town of Quincy in the late morning. The bike and its rider rode from the main road coming from the south, passing a house occupied by a Ghoul couple. He pulled into town and parked outside of the local diner. The residents of Quincy stard silently as the rider, August, took off his road goggles, rose from his bike in a stoic fashion, and strode into the building.

The chef at the counter watched carefully as the rider wearing a tattered duster entered the diner. August Rand was a tall man, and a well-built one. A specimen of human physique, he intimidated those around him even if it wasn't his intention. His skin was dark, and he had a full, unkempt beard that looked like it could use a proper trim.

"What'll ya have, stranger?" The chef asked as August took a seat.

"Brahmin milk, some Mirelurk eggs... And something grilled, please."

The chef nodded, leaving August to his thoughts. After a few minutes, he lifted his bag onto the counter and pulled a strap that had a Pip-Boy secured to it closer to him. He kept himself occupied as he interacted with the wrist-worn device.

Fresh out of Guns Guns Guns with his new combat rifle, Jason, who was less of a stranger in Quincy, entered the diner with haste. The young man had spent a few moments visually inspecting the vehicle parked outside the diner, which he had seen before but always inoperable. He removed his hat and scanned the occupants of the bar. All he recognized. Except one.

One of the staffers, upon seeing Jason enter with his excited expression, rolled their eyes and gestured to the stranger sitting alone, fiddling with some device. Jason approached, with no regards for the man's preference of company.

"Howdy," he greeted, pulling up a chair from an adjacent table, "New to Quincy? My name's Jason, I'm from around here. You got any questions just- say, is that your vehicle parked outside?"
