Biography: Zoe's mother was a Paladin who left the Brotherhood of Steel to marry an outsider. Zoe doesn't remember her father, who was killed by raiders when she was little. Her mother raised her mostly alone, teaching her how to read, how to fight, and everything about maintaining armor and weapons, namely energy weapons.
Growing up in Freeside, Zoe turned out to be a gifted student and continued to have a thirst for knowledge, seeking out and reading prewar books, as well as learning from the Followers at the Old Mormon Fort. As a result, she has at least a little knowledge of just about all a wastelander can learn, but repairing weapons remains her specialty.
