GREETINGS ROLEPLAYERS

The purpose of this game is to take part in the hilarious Ducreux meme by making game quotes into their archaic forms. An example would be this, which is the Cave Johnson lemon speech from Portal 2. (SPOILER ALERT). Answering is simple: say which character is saying it, from what game, and you get to make the next one. Bonus points for decoding it to its original form.

I will start with one that everyone should know.

"May your offer for pleasant conversation wait for an undetermined period of time, for I am directly involved with thy calibrations."

So we make famous game quotes "anarchic" (attributed to anarchy), or "archaic" (old fashioned)? I think there may be a typo somewhere. silly

And don't spoil Portal 2, I haven't had the 60$ to go get it yet!!!  ohnoes!

I'm assuming archaic because that's easier, (unless you're Peps). silly
So just take a quote, and imagine it said by a medieval guy?

Master Chief from Halo 2: "I am in need of a weapon."

(And you don't need to remove the Portal 2 quote, just don't use any more of them until I play it.)

Pretty much.

Though a better one would be "I am requiring the presence of an automatic firearm."

(He wasn't that specific in the game, though, I think he would have settled for something semiautomatic, or a sword. Tongue )

How's this: "Thy stronghold in it's entirety are belong to us!" xD

Eh.

There's still the one at the top, to guess, though. Should be fairly easy.

I'm not sure if I'm getting the concept. Is the point of it to try to make it as difficult to identify as you can, and the rest try to guess what the quote is, or just being funny? Because I was just trying to be funny. Tongue

I think it's much funnier if you can easily recognize it, but it works better as a game if you try to make it hard to recognize. I'm not sure which we're going for. Tongue

Yeah, try to make it a little difficult to figure out, but at the same time put in a few hints.
